Intermittent Access to ServiceNow

Overview:

ServiceNow is experiencing a technical issue that is affecting access for some of our customers.

What can you expect: 

Access to ServiceNow and the ServiceNow catalog may be intermittent or not available until the issue is resolved. ServiceNow is aware of the issue and is working to resolve the problem. ITS will send out additional information as it becomes available.

Security and critical updates also reduce the risk of exploitation by malware or hackers.

What Can You Expect

During the maintenance window, users may experience a brief loss of service while each server is rebooted. Each server is expected to be unavailable for fewer than 10 minutes during the maintenance window.

Vendor Troubleshooting of Network Switch in Hensill Hall (Thursday, October 13, 2022, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.)

Overview:

On October 13, 2022, ITS together with our vendor will be troubleshooting a network switch that provides connectivity to the 7th and 9th floors of Hensill Hall.

What can you expect: 

All network connections (wired, wireless, and VoIP phones) will briefly be down on the 7th and 8th floors of Hensill Hall during the troubleshooting window.

RESOLVED: Partial Network Outage -Ethnic Studies & Psychology Building 09:45 a.m.September 29, 2022

Overview:

Due to a power issue, we experienced a partial network outage in the Ethnic Studies & Psychology Building between 08:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. this morning. This impacted all network connectivity (including wired, wireless, and VoIP phones) in several different sections of the building.

 

What can you expect: 

Network connectivity in the Ethnic Studies & Psychology building is fully restored.
